How to find connected iPods?

From file menu, Click refresh devices. A list with connected iPods will show on the left panel. 

How to load music and select what songs to copy to your computer?

On iPods list, Click on the name of the iPod you want to load its songs in the list. Wait till the list load depending on the size of your iPod and how many songs on it.

How toget the songs to your computer?

On the bottom panel, click Export options, Select the export path (Where you want to copy your songs to), select how do you want your songs to be organized (by artist only or by altist and album), If you want to overwrite the song if the name exist check the very bottom box and click Export!. it.
